Tuesday morning we got up and headed to Sedona for the day. It was about a 2 hour drive but it didn't feel like it at all; the scenery was amazing! We took the kids to Sonic for their first time and they couldn't believe we got our food brought to the car and we ate it in the car. Sedona was absolutely gorgeous. We visited the Chapel of the Holy Cross (Church in the rocks), spent the afternoon riding through the mountain trails in Polaris Rangers (after being very frustrated about not getting the initial jeeps we had reserved and Dave doing some slick negotiating), and Dave & I even got a night away while Grandma & Grandpa took the kids back to their house for the night. We realized it was the first time we had ever left Wyatt for a night; since he's 20 months old, we figured it was time! Wyatt asked Grandpa if he could go to bed so he did just fine without us! We enjoyed dinner together and played for a while at the casino where I won $70 on a slot machine!
Kid's first trip to Sonic (Dave & I were reliving our college days, we used to eat at one in Laramie)

Felt so strange to see flowers this time of year-loved the little sign
This church was so beautiful. I'm so glad we went even though the kids couldn't understand why I'd want to go to church on Tuesday:)
