Spring Break

This last week the kids were off school for spring break.  We stayed with my mom for the week and managed to keep ourselves very busy.  Grace had her spring Sunday school concert and last class for the year last Sunday.  It was entertaining as always and our silly Grace decided to sit down during parts of it:)  Monday we went out for lunch, Tuesday we went to Green Bay and mom took the girls to see the new Muppet movie while Wyatt and I did some shopping, Wednesday we went to Appleton to the children's museum, Thursday Sarah and I did some freezer meal cooking and each came away with 8 meals, and Friday I took the kids to the zoo since it was the nicest day we've had in quite some time.  Sooo tomorrow it's back to school and watching my sweet little nieces:)  We're gearing up for another busy week with a dr. appointment for Wyatt Wednesday, celebrating my dad's birthday,  and soccer camp for both girls on Saturday!  Here are a few pictures of our spring break week; although we didn't go anyplace warm or far away, we still had a great week.
Look at those blue eyes, what a beautiful girl she is!
Gracie our little performer at her Sunday school spring concert

Madi playing at the "Kwik Trip" at the Appleton Children's Museum.  She was trying to spell out free pizza but didn't have all the right letters.
To say Wyatt loved playing in the water table at the children's museum would be a major understatement.
 He. Was. Soaked.

 Our crazy little Picasso.
These two are double trouble right here!
My little monkeys checking our the monkeys at the zoo.
He was so happy to be outside.  We are going to have a hard time keeping him in this summer!

I have SOOO many pictures of Madi by this bear that I could make a book out of them alone.  Ever since we started bringing her to the zoo she always likes to have her picture next to him:)

You know it's time to go on a diet when...

Grace came and climbed up into our recliner with me while I was feeding one of the twins. She wiggled her skinny butt in next to mine and said, "ugh, your butt is so big." Ouch my dear, ouch.

Lucky? Maybe. Blessed? You bet:)

Happy St. Patrick's Day.  Even though we're not Irish, of course we still had to celebrate and enjoy everything green.  I spent my day with the four cutest leprechauns you've ever seen and another cute little leprechaun joined us after school:)
Sweet, sleepy, Wyatt enjoying his green pancakes for breakfast:)
Green pancakes, green milk, and gold coins!
All five little leprechauns:)  Poor Wyatt just wants to stay away from all the girls!
Hannah and Hattie love big cousin Madi!
We tried making green moon dough today.  We ran out of food coloring so it wasn't super green and turned out to be mostly a huge mess but Grace liked it:)
We made these cute little leprechaun projects today, I have to laugh everytime I look at them!
And sweet Hannah.  She had her thumb in her pacifier today and then fell asleep with it like that.

Justin "Beaver"

Over the weekend the girls were playing with their little plastic animals. They have a container full of all kind of animals. We heard Grace say, "Justin Beaver, I finally found you! I've been looking for you forever." Dave peeked in to see what she was talking about and she was holding up a beaver:) Grace is always great for a good laugh!

Crazy Days

I realize it's been a while since I've updated our blog.  There is never a dull moment in our days lately.  We started babysitting my precious nieces three weeks ago.  We were staying with my mom for the first two weeks while my dad was away at work and having an extra set of hands was great, but the best part was spending time with my mom and Wyatt, Hannah, and Hattie, getting in on lots of Grandma cuddles.  So, now we're home and going at my new "job" solo.  So far it's been great.  They are the sweetest, most mellow girls.  They fill diapers like it's nobody's business but their cuteness makes up for it:)  This morning I texted Dave, "3 babies, 3 poopy diapers, 1 blowout all before 8:00.  Happy Friday."  He texted me back, "God bless you." No doubt it's a lot of work but I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Our little Wyatt isn't sure what to think of it all some days and relentlessly tries to steal his cousin's pacifiers and waits until the perfect moment when mommy is distracted and goes right in to snatch it up:)  He is ever so close to walking and walks along the furniture constantly.  I have NEVER met a busier baby!  He is getting over his second double ear infection in the last two months:(

Madi is our little smarty pants and came home with a huge chapter book from library yesterday.   She is the kid who does her homework on the bus:)  She is such a good kid and an amazing helper with all the little ones.

Then there's Gracie:)  She is her funny little self.  She has recently taken to asking us to say the prayer before dinner.  The night we had gotten home from staying with my mom she asked to say it and said, "thank you Jesus for bringing us home."  It was so sweet.  On Ash Wednesday we went to church and she asked me why I had dirt on my head.  I told her it wasn't dirt and tried to explain to her the best I could.  She said, "yeah, because Jesus died on the cross and I miss him very, very much.  She apparently is learning something in her Sunday school class:)  A couple more Grace funnies...
Madi:  "Today we learned about Mozart in school."
Grace:  "Moes? I love Moes!" (one of our favorite places to eat)

Me:  "How many hot dogs do you want for lunch?"
Grace:  "Fifteen, I want fifteen."

Here's a few pictures of all the cuties.  Happy Friday:)
 Is she adorable or what?
Our almost walking 8 month old!
Ok, seriously, could he be any more handsome???
Sweet Hattie:)  She is such a GOOD baby!
This picture pretty much sums up our days, chaos!
 Sweet, sleeping, little Hannah!
If this doesn't put a smile on your face, I'm not sure what will!
Our little girl is sadly growing up:(  Here she is with one of her BFFs, Gracelyn, at a fun "dance" her school had.
