Very successful day

Today has been a VERY successful day on the potty training front. Madi has gone all day without an accident and she even did the big #2 on the potty today, a first for that. I'm so proud of my little princess. It looks like our trip to Chuck E. Cheese is quickly approaching (we have a sticker chart that has 14 open spaces on it; we told her if she fills it we will take her to Chuck E. Cheese...since she went like 8 times today alone, I'd say we're on our way:) Hooray for Madi and no more diapers!!!

Potty Training

Showing off her blue ice cream
Finally, a good smile for the camera!

You're probably wondering what pictures of Madi eating breadsticks and blue ice cream have to do with my title, "Potty Training." Well we've really been trying to bribe Madi lately to get her to start using her potty. Up to this point, not much has worked...but today she actually went potty on her potty chair 3 times!!! Since she was such a big girl today we told her we'd get some ice cream tonight. She was excited and promptly requested that she get "blue ice cream and breadsticks." So, as you can see from the pictures, our little princess gets what she wants:)

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day! Here are the two loves of my life enjoying some popcorn. I love them both so much. We had quite an eventful Valentine's Day today. This morning my dad took his dates (all six of us; mom, me, Madi, Kaci, Sarah and my Grandma) to Disney on Ice! We had a great time and Madi was in awe...she didn't fair too badly either with Papa being her date, she got lots of treats. Then we met Dave and my brother for lunch at Moes (we LOVE Moes). Then it was off to Dave's Grandparent's house to visit and deliver a meal we'd made for them...Grandpa just had knee replacement. Then we went to our old church; we miss going to the church we were married in so it was nice to go back for a visit. Madi was a ham in church tonight. There was a baptism and she kept repeating over and over, "I want to get baptized." I kept telling her she already was baptized but she didn't believe me. I told her she was baptized when she was a baby and she said, "no, I a baby right now." So, all through church she kept repeating, "I want to get baptized." Needless to say everyone around us was amused, at least I hope so.

My BFF

Last night I was laying in bed with Madi and she said, "Mommy, you my best friend in the whole world." I almost cried...she's such a little sweetie.

My daughter the thief

Tonight we went out to Culvers for dinner. When we got home, this is what I found in my purse. I asked Madi if she had put it there and of course she did. Two is such a young age to start breaking the law:)
